Heart Health Testing Information

Our panel and individual heart health testing options offer accurate results for cholesterol, metabolism and blood pressure to ensure your heart remains in top-performing condition. Whether you have a pre-existing heart condition, family history or concerning symptoms, our heart health tests provide a comprehensive evaluation of your cardiovascular health to help reduce the risk of heart disease.

Note that in order to receive the most accurate results, many tests require that you fast for at least 8 hours prior to testing (i.e. nothing to eat or drink except water).

Keep Track of Your Cardiovascular Health

Heart disease is currently the leading cause of death in the United States.1 In many cases, the cause of heart disease can be out of our control, such as congenital heart defects. Pre-existing conditions or stressors can also take a toll on the heart over time.2 This may include drug abuse, diabetes, smoking and coronary artery disease. Thankfully, with routine heart health testing, you can personally keep track of your cardiovascular well-being and know when to seek treatment.

Signs You Need Heart Health Testing

Diminishing heart health can be rooted in underlying conditions and can be difficult to identify. However, heart disease symptoms may include:

  • Chest tightness or pain
  • Abnormal heartbeat
  • Lightheaded or dizziness
  • Swelling in legs or abdomen
  • Shortness of breath
  • Fainting. 3

If you should have a pre-existing condition or family medical history that might put you at risk, you should get tested as soon as possible. While practicing a healthy lifestyle can prevent heart disease, routine heart health testing can help detect it before it’s too late.
