This Complete Blood Count Test with Differential Test, commonly known as a CBC test, measures the amount of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets in your blood to give you a basic understanding of your blood health and to establish a baseline before beginning medication. In addition, monitoring your blood count can help physicians to measure disease progression or to confirm or rule out certain health conditions. Note that this test does not test for any disease or condition specifically.
